Terms of use

The service

ProfitMiner shows market opportunities for Albion Online (flips, crafting, gathering and trip plans) from public market data. It is a tool to help you decide; it does not play for you and does not interact with the game.

No affiliation

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Sandbox Interactive GmbH or Albion Online. Game names and images belong to their owners. Prices come from the Albion Online Data Project (AODP), a community project fed by players.

No guarantee of results

Prices change all the time and community data can be incomplete, late or wrong. Every number on the site is an estimate. You decide what to buy, craft, carry and sell, and you are responsible for any silver gained or lost. We are not liable for losses in the game.

Your account

You sign in with Discord. An account is personal: it is used on one device at a time, and the device can change once a week. Do not share your account, automate requests or try to overload or copy the service; we may suspend accounts that do.

Paid plans

The service is planned as a paid subscription priced near its running cost. Prices and conditions will be shown before you pay, and these terms will be updated then.

Changes

We may change the service or these terms. Important changes will be announced on the site; continuing to use it after that means you accept them.

Privacy policy

What we store

From Discord: your user id, display name and avatar. We never see your Discord password or e-mail.

What you enter: your player profile (server, city, premium, mounts per city, station fee, language) and your Destiny Board levels.

Game character (optional): the character you link and its lifetime fame from the game's public API, read once a day. Unlinking deletes both.

Trades you record (item, city, quantity, prices) and craft orders you place or accept, with the in-game name you type for them. The in-game name of an order is shown to signed-in players; the crafter's only to the player who ordered.

Security data: your current session, a random device identifier and when the device last changed.

Usage and errors: pages you open and buttons you use, and technical details of errors (browser, device type, page, IP address). They are not linked to your account.

Why

Only to run the service: to keep you signed in, to limit an account to one device and to show opportunities that match your character. We do not sell your data, show ads or build profiles for third parties.

Usage statistics show us which tools are used and where people get stuck; error reports let us fix bugs quickly.

Totals on the Community page (players per city, mount and Destiny Board level range) are counted over every account and never show names. They only appear once a server has at least 5 players.

Cookies

We only use cookies the site needs: the session (30 days), the device identifier (up to 400 days), a short-lived login check (10 minutes) and your language. No advertising or tracking cookies.

Usage statistics do not use cookies or local storage: nothing stays in your browser between visits.

Who processes it

Discord, to sign you in.

Vercel and Render, which host the site and the server; Supabase, which stores the database; Upstash, which keeps a short-lived cache.

PostHog (servers in the EU), for usage statistics, and Sentry, for error reports.

Some of these providers are based in the United States; transfers are covered by the EU standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

Item pictures load from Albion Online's image server, which sees your IP address like any website you visit.

How long

Your data is kept while you have an account. Sessions expire after 30 days. When you ask us to delete your account, your profile, levels and sessions are deleted.

Usage statistics are kept by PostHog for up to 1 year and error reports by Sentry for up to 90 days.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, its correction or its deletion, and you can complain to your data protection authority (in Portugal, the CNPD). Write to the contact below.

Contact

A contact address will be published here before the service opens to the public. Until then, reach the team through the Discord server where you found the site.
